Abrar Qurashi, Ph.D., is a Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at University of Kashmir (UOK), India. Dr. Qurashi received his doctorate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from IGBMC/University of Strasbourg, France and postdoctoral training at Emory University, and Ichan School of Medicine, New York. At UOK, Dr. Qurashi is interested in the molecular genetics and noncoding RNAs in neurodevelopment/aging brain disorders. Dr. Qurashi is the recipient of prestigious Ramalingaswami Reentry Fellowship From the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India
